So sorry to learn of Sandra's home-going. My deepest sympathies. You may not remember me as it's been well over 50 years since we've had any contact from our time together at Children's Memorial Hospital. I would love for you to email me at: ruthunderhilll213@aol.com so we can reconnect. Don't know why but you popped into my mind today for no reason at all and I decided to look your name up on the web. Again, my condolences.

We were saddened to hear of the loss of your daughter, sister and friend. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Ernie and Joann-
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I got to see Sandra on occasion at Guys and Dolls. She sure never forgot things about high school when she visited with me. She was truly blessed to have a family like you and I'm sure you will miss Sandra so much. The loss of a child would be so devastating. Time heals but memories are ever-lasting.
God bless.

Ernie, Joanne and Wendy,

So very sorry to hear about your loss. After watching the video, there were so many memories of our family coming to visit in Swisher and Anamosa when we were kids. On a visit to your home in Cedar Rapids in later years, I remember Sandy and I loved some of the same television shows and we would talk and laugh about them. You have our deepest sympathy.

Jo Ann and Wendy, I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter and sister Sandy. Seems like only yesterday I found her an outfit to wear from Breons to go on a trip or event. I enjoyed watching Sandy's video Tribute. She sure had some good times. My thoughts and prayers are with your families, Michele

I looked forward to and enjoyed talking with Sandy when she'd stop by my desk at CRCC. She usually asked if I was playing games on my computer. She always made me smile. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and comfort you with His everlasting love.

Our sincere sympathy to your family upon Sandy's death. She was an inspiration to anyone that knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are out of town and heard the sad news.

Dearest Ernie & Joanne-
We were shocked and saddened by your call of Sandy's passing. Pat & I reminisced on our time with Sandy and what a true delight she was. She brought all who had the opportunity to know her more joy than she ever would realize. She was always uplifting, loving, and she had a personality that made her just a pleasure to be around. Pat and I are going to dearly miss Sandy...she was as precious as they come. Our sympathy goes out to Ernie, Joanne, Wendy, along with family and friends.

Thinking of you during this time of sorrow. Sincerest sympathy.

It was with great sadness that I read Sandy's obituary. You have been so good to give Sandy such a wonderful life. May God give you peace at this difficult time.

Ernie, Joanne, and Wendy-

We are sorry for your loss. Our family extends our sympathy to you.

Sincerely

Dear Ernie, Joanne & Wendy: I was so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. Although we hadn't seen each other in many years, she recognized me right away when we saw each other in Anamosa at Tucker's. My memories go back many years when our families were neighbors in Swisher and we all played together every day. May God bless you.

Ernie and Joanne,

You have our deepest sympathies on the loss of Sandy. She was a wonderful person. It was always great fun to watch Iowa games with her, or see her at your house. We're sorry we won't be able to be with you at Sandy's service, but know we'll be thinking about you.

Dan and Anne

Ernie and Joanne,

Ernie and Joanne, my thoughts and prayers are with you always. Sandy was so much fun to talk to and I enjoyed the visits I had with her. She is still an inspiration to all of us because she lived her life to the fullest and we should all take more time to appreciate the small things just like she always did. Peace and love to you-Kellie

we are sorry for your loss

Ernie and Joanne - I extend my condolences.

I have warm memories of Sandy's baptism at Ely as she and Wendy grew up in that congregation.

I remember the home in Shueyville and in Anamosa
and Ernie's visits in the State Treasurer's Office when he was delivering momentoes for Terrace Hill...so many pleasant memories. Peace and grace be with you in Sandy's death.
