So very sorry to hear about the passing of Stan. I will always remember his laughter, kindness, and the fun we used to have. Blessings to you all.

Dear Ruthie,
My heart goes out to you & your family during this time of great loss. What an amazing journey and relationship you shared with Stan as friends, spouses, parents, grandparents, & great grandparents for all those many years. Together you have been a testiment to what it means to be married, committed, loyal, patient, long-suffering, forgiving, kind and Christ-like. Stan was a smart and kind man who always seemed to have a smile or a story for everyone he'd meet. His optimism and courage to the very end reminded me of II Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finsihed the race, I have kept the faith." May God bless you and yours with comfort and peace during this lonely leg of your journey,

We are so sorry to hear about your loss, wish we could be there for the funeral. I have so many fond memories of summer days at the Cadwalladers. Your dad was the best, especially when he shared his chocolate covered cherries with me, I don't really think he expected me to eat the whole box though! He was such a good faithful man, he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. My parents Harold and Irene Bliss send their condolences also.

Dear Debbie & David and family,
Sorry to read on facebook about your father passing away. Our thought & prayers are with you all.

My parents Freddie and Wava Frederickson knew Stanley. They were members of the Cedar Rapids SDA Church for many years and I also attended that church for a few years. My parents are deceased but I wanted to give my condolences to the family.

Though I didn't know Mr. Cadwallader well, I remember his smiling face around OPA when visiting Scott and Leesa, and later at alumni weekends. The way he lived his life is a powerful testimony to Whom he believed. My prayer for your family is that you all experience the love, comfort, and support you need at this time. Lam 3:22-24.

May you be sustained by the love of God.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We will miss stanley very much he was a wonderfull wise man with alot of great stories to tell. May God bless you all and keep you in his care during this great loss.
May stanley's memory be eternal. Your friends at oscar's
George and Marie Chalhoub

My prayers and thoughts are with your family.

May you feel the warm arms of friendship, and the strong arms of Jesus during your loss. And be encouraged by the assurance that you will meet again in a better land.
OPA class of '81

Our family always enjoyed seeing your family when we were at OPA. I know my parents always thought a lot of the Cadwalladers.

Why God Created Fathers

When God created Fathers, He made two loving arms

To cradle us and shelter us from the worldly harm.

When God created Fathers, He made a pair of hands

To care for us and guide us through our choices and our plans.

When God created Fathers, He made the warmest heart

To understand and give our lives a happy, loving start.

Why God created Fathers, is not a mystery. . .

He meant to share His love with us and did it perfectly.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
