Brian: My condolences to you and your family. I was so sorry to find your wife's obituary on the internet today. I still think of you often and the good times we had when we were kids. Your old grass-cutting partner.

We remember Mary fondly. Our sympathies to her family.

The staff of American Cancer Fund at www.AmericanCancerFund.org is sorry to hear of Mrs. Westphalen's passing. We have received memorial contributions in her name and our sincere condolences go out to her family.

We greatly enjoyed knowing Mary and working with her, Mike at The Gazette and Kathy as a docent at the Museum of Art. You are in our thoughts and our prayers.

Dear Brian and Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you and all the family. It was so good to see you two at the WHS Reunion. Thank you so much for making the effort to be there. Mary and I and our other WHS friends had a blast together during HS. I will always remember her for her sparkling and wry sense of humor. Love, Sally INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (Brinkmann) Blaser

Mary was always so funny. She was one of those rare naturally funny and witty people, just hilarious. I worked with her at JDA in the summers during high school and then for 6 months after college. She set the tone for the whole office. It would not have been nearly as fun and festive an environment with Mary. She actually made agri-business fun.

She was funny and clever in everyday conversation, and then would take the time to make up "press releases" about things that had happened in the office. She had us in stitches. My dad and I have kept all of Mary's "press releases" and still laugh every time we think of them.
What a blast it must have been to have had her for a wife and mother.

I am so sorry for your loss, and so sad to hear of her passing. She made such an impression on me, it seems like it was just yesterday that we were all working together.

Dear Brian and family,
George and I send our very sincere sympathy at this poignant time in your lives. Although George's family knew Mary for many years back to her high school days, I got to know her through Marvin Cone Club and her dedication to documenting all our meetings. Her dear laugh and sweet smile materialize when I think of her.

Mary, it was a pleasure and a wonderful privilege to know you and to work with you. You were a joy.\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\nAnd such a marvelous creative sense of humor. When you and I would have been on a business trip, I would find you in the office the next morning telling everyone about all the funny things that had happened to us, you were hilarious in telling them, and I would think to myself, "Gee, I was there with her, I remember that, but not in the tremendously comic way you were able to perceive and relate it." That was you, Mary, making everything better.\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\nI love you, I respect you, I will miss you, I will never forget you. For you brought joy into everyday life. \\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\nLucky to have been part of your life, Jeff Davis

Sorry to hear of the passing of your mom Peter. Know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Brian & Family, Pat & I are sorry for your loss. Mary was quite the lady, and a joy to be around. Brian, thank you for bringing her to the Reunion so that she could see her friends from years past. You could tell she enjoyed seeing her friends. Enjoy the memories of a lifetime.

Mary was one of the absolutely nicest people I have never known. Tho I have not seen her for years, I remember her well from WHS. My heart goes out to her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings. May she rest in peace.

Brian,
Mary's dedication to the Marvin Cone Art Club and the Wednesday Shakespeare Club is greatly admired. I know I speak for many when I say I am saddened by her passing, especially at this time of year.
Many blessings to you and your family.
Mary will be greatly missed!

I was a classmate of Mary's and was so glad I had an opportunity to see and speak with her at our 50th year reunion this past October. She was a lovely person. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
