Dear Coppock Family and Elderkin Firm,

Sheila and I wish to express our tremendous sadness for the loss of this gentlemanly and witty man.

He gave me my start in a legal career and I will always be grateful to him.

Best Wishes to you all.

Rick and Sheila Barrett

I worked at E & P for a few years and while I was there, Mark was always very kind to me. I continued to see him at Iowa football games over the years. He will be missed. God bless Mark and his entire family.

From among all of my high school "friends" Mark is the only individual who offered any support at the point of my greatest stress.

It was a short conversation in Joe's place on a football Saturday.

I know that Mark's early passing has put an urgency on all of our plans. For me, the regret is that I never said "Thanks".
