So sorry for the loss of Barbara! I cant imagine the welcoming she received when she got to heaven! I was her hospice aid and she talked do much of the loved ones who went on before her! I also learned so much from her about music! I would play you tube videos on my phone and learned of Doris Akers and the Akers family. If she was having a bad day all I had to do was get out my phone! She loved the song by Doris Sweet, Sweet Spirit and would sing along with her beautiful voice! It was a pleasure to go see her always! Until we meet again keep on singing and rest in peace! Love you Barbara!

We grew up watching our mothers side by side at many events around CR with your mom singing and my mom on the piano trying to follow Ms Barbara's timing. Even into their latter years sharing their gifts at nursing homes.
