Joanne and my sister Judy (Jecmenek) Teply were best friends in the 50's which is how I got to know her. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to her family and friends. What a comfort to know that she stayed close to God throughout her life and is with Him now. Sincerely, Suzy Wilbur

My sympathy to Joanne's family. Your mother was a wonderful Christian woman. Always someone to look up to and learn from. We had a wonderful time with Joanne and Jim in our Bible studies . It is truly a blessing to know she knew the Lord and lived her life serving Him. You have wonderful memories to give you comfort today. God bless you all. Janet Dale

My sincere sympathy to family of Joanne Fisher. I knew Mrs. Fisher when she was an associate at Prairie High School. She modeled patience, kindness, and compassion for all of us when working with children. I remember her well for those attributes, and for her general sweet nature. She was a wonderful lady! Take care, Lori Danker

My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear loved one. Losing a loved one is a distressing and painful time. We have assurance from God’s word at Psalm 34:18 that he is near to those brokenhearted and he saves those crushed in spirit. It is my hope that your family will find strength to endure during the days ahead.

Joanne was such a key part of Prairie schools. And she was a friend to many. Our son, Eric, was a good friend to Drew at school also. She was the nicest person you would ever wish to meet. So sad to hear of her passing.

To Joanne's family and friends, Please accept my sympathy on Joanne's passing. I knew her and many family members from years of working at Prairie. Joanne was a lovely person to talk with. She always treated me kindly and seemed genuinely interested in the welfare of my students and of me, both professionally and personally.

We were friends in the 1950's Dearest best friends. I wore her wedding dress when I married my husband Don in 1955. I loved her as a sister. In later years our grandson Jay Teply (Xavier) played basketball against Andrew (Prairie). I visited her once when she was in Arbor place. God love and bless you all. Judy Teply
