Fran, I was sorry to hear of John's passing. You had many years together and many memories to hold on to. God bless you and your family. Sincerely Karen Lyons

I met John through our local Masonic Lodge. He was one of the most caring souls I've ever had the honor to know. God speed Brother.

John was a kind and gentle soul, and never without a smile. Thoughts and prayers to Frances, Lisa, David, Beth, Mary, Julie, and James. May light perpetual shine upon him. Your loving niece and cousin, Stacie

"Mr. Markham" was my 5th or 6th grade teacher at Grant Wood in about 1957. It was whatever year Lisa was born because I remember thinking that I must be an OK kid because he never would have named his daughter after a brat! My father died that year. My first day back at school a boy said, "Ha Ha-Your daddy died!" Well, I hauled off and slugged him! Mr. Markham saw the whole thing & gave that boy holy heck while he rubbed my back. I will never forget that! He was such a nice man and a good teacher. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Beth and all, so sorry to hear about your dad passing. I always enjoyed spending time with your family--you all always looked so happy to be together. There is a lot of love there.
