Please accept my condolences for the loss of your mother. I fondly remember hearing my parents, Robert W. & Lillian Neff speaking of your family with great respect. Your mom always had a greeting and smile for us when we would see her in the hallway at St. Paul's. Take care.

I am so sorry I missed your Mom's obituary. My Mom (Peggy 9/28/1921-2/5/2016) would have told us of Dorothy's passing. Peggy was quite fond of Dorothy. And, as you likely know, your Dad and my Dad practiced law together many years ago. Your Mom was always kind and interested in others. Sending love and light.

Carolyn and Jennifer, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother; I am from Primghar,IA. Your mother was a neighbor to us in the country south of Primghar. My parents were Carl and Beata Silberstein. I didn't your that your father had passed away 3 years ago. My brother, Roger Silberstein, who lived at Quasqueton, IA, not far from Cedar Rapids died suddenly on Feb. 15th, just had the one brother, so I am alone now. I just live a miles west of Primghar on the blacktop and raise German Shepherds and Standard Poodles. Your mother was a wonderful person. Rhonda Westphal

Jenny and family, My deep sympathies for your loss. How fitting that my note follows Sandy's, as you and she were two of my favorite flute students; we go way back! I didn't know your mom well, but I have been through the loss of my mother. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Carolyn and family. Sorry sorry for your loss. What a beautiful photo of your Mom.

Carolyn, Jenny & Family: We have so many happy memories with you and your parents; much of Sandy's childhood was spent with you Jenny, and John enjoyed his legal discussions with Judge Eads long before he became a judge himself. We are so sorry for your loss. Wish we could be there, but our bicoastal friendship will continue always. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Carolyn and Jennifer, How proud your parents were of their two daughters, four granddaughters, and of course the great grands. Your Mom's face would light up when she spoke of you. I miss not seeing Dorothy we always seem to meet at Grant Wood School with our dogs. We are sending our sympathy, and good thoughts.

Carolyn and Jennifer, We are so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We would be at her services, but we have to be out of town for another funeral. Both of your parents were such wonderful people. It was a blessing that we had the opportunity to know them and your family. Your parents are both thought of fondly and often in our little men's group. They raised two fine, caring and attentive daughters. Our sympathies to you and your families. Dave and Nancy Wittenburg

My deepest sympathies to the Eads family. Dorothy was a wonderful neighbor to me growing up. She had great stories and was very funny. She was also always very kind to my family, I remember fondly the sock monkey doll she made for my little sister when she was born. She will be greatly missed.

To the Eads Family; my sincere condolences on the passing of Dorothy. We were neighbors with your Mother and Father for many years on Forest Drive. I really enjoyed talking with both of your parents on their walks around the block. Your mother was a wonderful caring person with a great sense of humor. What more could you ask for! Tom, Marcus and Joe Kenney
