Earl worked for my dad and then became his business partner at Price Electric and Hardware. He was always very nice to me. He gave my husband and I sage advice whne we were trying to figure out what car to buy. He was a very practical man. My parents liked him a lot!

Earl was my God Father. He made a great difference in life. We always looked forward to seeing Earl and Dora when they came to Florida for the winter. Tex and I both loved Earl for his kind heart Rest in Pease Earl! Many love and prayers to Wally, Joan, Kristopher and all family members.

I knew Earl for many years when I worked at Monticello Aviation. Earl would bring his Cessna 150 for its Annual Inspection and always help open panels and whatever else he could do to help. While performing the inspection we had many conversations about airplanes and life in general. I last talked with Earl at the 2014 Flight Breakfast at the Monticello airport. I am sure Earl will be missed by many, as he was a good friend and a gentleman.

When my husband Larry and I joined First Lutheran in 1998, Earl and Dora were the first to make us feel really welcome. They sought us out each Sunday and always had a hug and a smile. If we needed someone to cover for us for Communion clean-up, they were always willing. Whenever we stopped at Cooper's Mill after church, Earl and Dora were always there and we shared a meal with them on several occasions. Earl continued the hugs even after Dora was gone and he gave me great comfort after Larry's passing this year. He was a kind and caring person and will be missed.

Earl and Dora were my Godparents. What wonderful, kind and loving people. So grateful my folks chose them for that special role in my life. They were always there at all the milestone moments, as I grew up and got married. So many treasured memories with two people I cherished. Earl would always greet you with a big hug. I imagine them both with a smile, once again reunited.

Earl work for my father and along the way taught me methods of troubleshooting, a person lives on if their knowledge has been past on.
