Sorry to hear of Elbert's passing. I guess we knew him as L. B. or Elbe. My favorite memory of him was when he tried to tame a pony that my uncle Tom had given me. The neighbor girl had come over and Elbe let her ride it. Everything went OK until the poney ran away with the girl holding on for dear life and Elbe running after both of them.

Joyce and family, Jo and I want to express our my sincere condolences for your loss. Though we wish we had met you and Bert much sooner we were and are truly blessed to have gotten to know you, Bert and your wonderful family. God bless you all. Phil and Jo

Aunt Joyce, Kathy and Tom, Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Uncle Bert. I will always remember his sense of humor, quick wit and his big grin when he was giving rides on his Harley. Hopefully you can be at peace with all the fond memories you have over the years and that Uncle Bert lived life to the fullest. God Bless you and I will keep you in my prayers.

Joyce, Tom and Kathy, I wanted to send my condolences on the passing of your Dad. Ever since I was a little neighborhood boy we knew your family and your dad was such a great guy. Always joking around and making me feel welcomed when I used to come over to your home. I have many fond memories of my talks with Bert. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m praying for peace on your family at this time.
