I was sorry to here of Larry's departure from this earth. I sang with him in Voices of Hope for a long time. Loved to see him every year in his uniform. He was a proud veteran and served his country and his God well. I pray that the family will be comforted in knowing he is with his Savior and probably singing in Heaven!

We are so sorry for loss that I know all of you are going through. People always say it will get easier as time pass. Yes they do but for right now it just hurts. The best vice we can give to you and your family is to lean on God because he is the only one that is going to help you all to get through this time. We will mss you Larry, but knowing we will see you again helps. RIP.

I knew Larry for many years. I will always remember the numerous conversations we had--sometimes over nothing important. He served as a faithful man of God in many things, especially Voices of Hope. I will truly miss him, his voice, and his Navy uniform. Heaven truly has a wonderful Angel now. Lots of love, Larry. I'll miss you.

We knew Larry as an enthusiastic member of the Voices of Hope choir. He sang enthusiastically. He represented his branch of service with honor. And he showed such devotion for his country. He served his Lord and we send prayers of comfort to his family.

What can I say about the best brother that anyone could ask for. What a kind, loving, caring, helpful, and stubborn person he was. He was very passionate in his beliefs and was an incredible roll model for his younger siblings. He always came to spend time with us on weekends. He especially did me an awesome favor by walking me down the aisle at my wedding. I will miss your great wit and constant smile, your corny t-shirts and warm hugs. I know that you are smiling down on us from heaven! Love always until we meet. again.

Larry was a wonderful man, he served in the Navy reserves with my father-in-law and husband. My husband considered him one of his Navy fathers and we always looked forward to seeing him at the rock shows. We are so sorry for your loss.

Larry always shared his smile and many kind words. The church family will miss him. May God comfort the family.

Larry always had a smile on his face and a kind word. He will be deeply missed by his church family. Truly sorry for your loss and prayers for the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Like many others I will always remember Larry’s kindness and encouraging words for me. He was a genuine person that always took the time to say hello and give you a great smile that just made you feel better since you last saw him. Thanks Larry, Rest In Peace brother.

Larry always had a smile and a pleasant genuine greeting. He will be missed. The Burns family

I've known Larry for pretty much my entire life. He was always thinking of others and was very sweet, compassionate and always going above and beyond what was asked of him. Always with a smile. Never seen him get flustered whenever asked to do something. Larry your going to be missed especially on Sunday's.

I am so incredibly saddened by the loss of Larry. I grew up with him always calling me Rena Red Raspberry. I am sad that I will not hear that nickname again this side of heaven. Larry was and is very special to our family. He will be greatly missed. Praying for your family as you walk through this.

What a numbing loss. Larry is one of the most beautiful gems that I have on my charm bracelet of life. Anne, based on my sorrow over his loss I cannot imagine what you are feeling as his closest friend and companion. Larry made sure to always look us up and greet us at church. We certainly consider ourselves among his closest of friends, but that is how he made everyone that knew him feel. The hole that his loss will leave in my life will never be filled. It leaves a mark that will never be completely healed. Anne, I echo what Winona said. We want to be there for you like Larry was always for us. There is no need that you might have that is too great or small that we will not be there to meet. Please remember us when something arises or comes to mind. We are praying for you during this time of sorrow.

Anne and Jeff and family, We will miss Larry so much. He always had a smile and loved to visit and laugh. Larry use to sing with a group of us at nursing homes...what a heart for singing and worship! He loved people and was such a hard worker. He talked about you a lot, Anne and Jeff and family. He was a good Christian soldier and now is with our Lord and Savior.

We will miss seeing him at church. So sorry for the family's loss . may God take care and watch over your family in during this time !!!

Ann, We we're devastated to hear of Larry's sudden home-going last Friday. We have so many memories with him! We only met you a couple of times, but he spoke of you all the time. He was a wonderful man, and a treasured friend. Always helping, without even being asked. Always smiling and caring. He was the 'Dad' in the cast for Carols by Candlelight, and the Passion play for our children at various times. Our grandchildren loved him also, and our youngest granddaughter, Avhlin, always called him Pastor Larry. He will be missed for so very many reasons. I can only imagine your loss. If there is anything we can do, really, please let me know! Praying for you and your whole family. Winona & Chris LaBarr
