To Chris and his family my deepest sympathy

I was very sad when I read about Tara's passing. My sympathy goes out to Chris and the rest of the family. I had the honor of being a colleague in the human services field with Tara, and her constantly positive attitude was just amazing. Even when she was shaking my cage, she did it in a friendly way. Her passing is a great loss to all of us.

Sending my condolences to you and your family in your time of loss. You and your family are in my thoughts.

i was deeply saddened to read of Tara's passing. I worked with Tara when she was the volunteer coordinator at Hospice of Mercy. I was one of the nurses there and she always did her best to get a volunteer for a patient even with short notice. I'll never forget the card she gave me when my dog died suddenly. That was Tara. I hope your good memories help you get through this sad time in your lives.

I worked with Tara on the board of Leaders in Volunteerism and when she was the volunteer coordinator at the Community Health Free Clinic. Also remember when she ran for city council after the flood. The picture captures her positive spirit.

Chris - my sympathies for you and the family. I never met Tara but I certainly heard her name as a member of the social services community. Advocates for the less recognized of our society are very important people. I wish you and the family members the gift of time for your own healing. My thoughts are with you. John

Chris I had the pleasure of working with Tara at the free clinic. Loved her smile, she was a great person Sorry for your loss Laurie

Tara's path and my path crossed several times in our professional lives. I always respected and admired her fire and passion for those she served. We all lost her shining light on this earth. However, those she helped have the power to keep her memory alive by practicing what they learned from her through words and actions, so her spirit lives on and multiplies.

Prayers to the family for your loss, from an old neighbor in Council Bluffs..

To "Big Chris", and all of Tammi's family, I extend my sincere sympathy for your great loss. Tammi befriended me many years ago, at a time in my life when I was in need of a friend. Although I had not seen her in decades, Tammi is not the sort of person one forgets, nor wants to. I know that I am a better person for having known her, and the world is a sadder place without her.

Chris and family, please accept our prayers and sympathies for the loss of your wife.

Chris, my heart aches for your loss. I was never lucky enough to know Tara - her obituary shows a persona that I know I would have enjoyed. Deepest sympathy to your entire family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Tara will be missed by the helper community and those she served. I always called her Saint Tara because she worked so hard to help the most down and out.

I am deeply sorry for your loss . May the God of Love and Comfort provide support to the grieving family . Comfort is provided through His words at Psalms 34:17-18 and Psalms 94:19.

The family is in my thoughts.
