Rich and Jerry Hampton purchased vans and cars from Floyd - always enjoyed his stories - and knew he was knowledgeable about the Ford products - they thought of him as a friend. God bless each of you each day ahead.

Floyd worked for me as a salesperson from 1973 until 1980, selling Fords for Bob Zimmerman Ford! Floyd had a heart of gold, great sense of humor, and skills in selling few achieve! I am proud to have worked with him and to have known him all these years. We stayed in touch up until a few years ago. Heaven is getting a very good one!!

I spent many years enjoying Floyd in our Optimist club. Our creed says "wear a cheerful continence at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile" and he sure did.

Floyd will be so missed! We will always remember him from The Eastern Iowa Mustangs! Such a guy who loved his Fords and Life so much! Bob & I loved his expression, "I sell these Mustangs!" Rest in Peace Floyd! Bob & Janie Thomson.

Having worked with Floyd in 1968 at Ford, and later attending his 90th birthday, the years between were filled with loyalty, honesty, and countless bad jokes, rest in peace my friend,

We lived next door to Floyd and Mary on Dalewood while our boys were growing up. We enjoyed them both and their dog Bear! My boys have good memories of Floyd! Thank you, Floyd.

My father was Wesley Waterhouse (died December 12, 2002) eldest son of Pearl Ondler Waterhouse (husband Bruce Waterhouse). Pearl was adopted by Ira & Rena Ondler in Coggon after a trip from a New York orphanage on the "Orphan Train" with her brother George. Many many years ago when we had annual Waterhouse/Ondler/Ware Reunions Floyd was always there putting smiles on everyone's faces. What a great guy. I didn't realize until I read Floyd's obit that his mother was Millie Marie. On May 27, 2011 my daughter's 2nd child was born ........ Millie Marie Taylor - - - what a coincidence!!!!!! We mourn the loss of Floyd but celebrate a long life that touched so many.
