We are very sad we learned of Charlie's passing too late to attend his funeral ...he was a true inspiration to both of us and we loved our visits to his garden and stories around his kitchen table. We shared a connection with Charlie & Ann the first time we met them on the Wapsi River. Because we were so blessed by the wonderful gift of buying their cabin, in 2008, we planted an evergreen tree dedicated to Ann & have custom bricks "Charlies Place" to always remind us of their wonderful spirits. They were truly examples of God's love. We are sorry for you loss. Our fond memories are with us forever. God Bless your family!

No heart breaks alone for God is always near. When a prayer is whispered God is always there to hear. When sorrow's overwhelming, He comforts tenderly. A single tear never falls that he does not hear.(Psalms 65:2) Sorry for your loss.

We are sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. We have many good memories of Charlie at Emery Place and enjoyed getting to know him and his family. I will think of him when I eat a tomato!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. The Harold Sherman family Harold Sherry- Fort Dodge Bev- Robins Don- Robins
