Dear Vicki & Jody - I'm very sorry to read of your mom's passing -- and so soon after your dad's death. I never knew she had been a teacher or that she was from Nebraska. My dad's family came to CR from Lincoln. May you both take comfort in all of the fond memories you each have of your mom and also in your faith that she is now in the Nearer Presence of God. Lynn grew up in the prosperous farm community of Lyons, Nebraska.
For decades her parents ran the successful 'Cropper's 5 cent & 10 cent' store.
I got to know Lynn and her husband Dick in Cedar Rapids at 'Cornhusker' football game-watch parties.
