I was just told about uncle Maurice's passing. I am so sorry for the family's loss. I know how hard it is the loose a parent.. My prayers are with you all !

I would always look forward to Fridays at work at St. Luke's. I would make sure to same the morning paper for him so he could sit and read it in the waiting area before heading to the cafeteria for lunch. He would come back by after lunch to get a hug and chit chat. He was always so kind.

I only recently heard from Chris about your father passing away. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure it has been a rough couple of weeks for you. I'm keeping your family in my prayers.

What a sweet kind man. Only knew him from HyVee...liked to pick the line he was bagging in just to talk a few minutes with him. One day he looked awful. He had fallen on the ice and was bruised all over, but he had his happy face on and was still cheerful. Once I ran into him at St. Lukes...that's where I found out about him being a teacher. I miss seeing him at Hy Vee. May he rest in peace and meet lots more people up in the HyVee in the sky. Marilyn Heth

My thoughts and prayers to Maurice's family. I met Maurice when Lois had surgery at St. Lukes. I worked in the ICU and took care of her and recognized Maurice from working at HyVee. From then on we always visited when I came in for grocerys. When Maurice began coming to St. Lukes for lunch on Fridays I would always make a point to stop and visit. He was such a kind man with a wonderful smile. I always loved visiting with him. Bless him and his family.

As a former Taft Tiger I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Tone. He was the vice principal at Taft when I attended and I always loved his welcoming smile and dry sense of humor. One of my best memories of Mr. Tone was watching him at sporting events, where you could always tell that he was "holding back" in lieu of being seen as "that overly excited administrator". He was such a positive influence and will be greatly missed!

Dear Mark and Shawn, I'm truly sorry for your loss on your dad. I worked with him at Collins Road Hy-Vee for many years. I remember the good times your dad and I had and I will cherish those memories and moments that he and I had. Sincerely, Kory Greenwood
