The good memories include clothes pins on beach towels, Don wiping down the boat while the skier was yelling "READY!", his adult kids annoying him by calling him Kaye Don, and the everlasting quote "Saaaay"..... My sincere sympathies and wishing peace to his five lovely grandchildren, especially my daughter. May you remember laughter, his hiding chips in the TV stand and his funny laugh that made each of you giggle. All my love.

I am sorry I was not able to make it to the celebration of Don's life today in Fort Dodge but we had several family events going on so we could not make it. My sister Amy Kersten Bruno said she was able to attend and said it was great to see all of the Thompsons! I have great memories of growing up on Wraywood Drive and helping Mrs. Thompson burn her fall leaves! We loved the smell of them! Please know Don and H.K. and Helen are in our thoughts and prayers and maybe we can connect again in the future. Best wishes. Jim Kersten PO Box 2015 Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501

Evelyn and family, I am very sorry for your loss. Don was great man and a true gentleman. I enjoyed my acquaintance with Don both as a competitor in the oil business in Fort Dodge and later as a co-worker. He was kind and loyal and dependable. I pray for God's comfort and peace for you in this time . Chip Doolittle
