Treena Tielbur, 58 passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 after losing her tough battle with heart failure. She was surrounded by family and friends. She was the “Queen Bee” to her husband, Timothy Tielbur and was the most fierce, warm and loving Mother to her children (Flecia & Derrick Ogert, Joshua Tielbur, Michael & Gwen Luton, Tom Tielbur and Nikki Dobberpuhl). She loved her grand babies Taden, Heidi, Lucas, Miranda, and Ethan more than anything in the world. She is also remembered by her Siblings; Karon, Carl, and Larry Jr and her Mother Anna.
She always had a house full of kids and helped be a supportive mother figure to many children in her lifetime. She was a strong woman who survived being a Navy wife for over 20 years while raising 5 children and numerous neighborhood kids.
She always had a Diet Coke in hand and loved to go on marathon shopping trips for hours. She was a fantastic cook and made world famous macaroni and potato salad like no one else!
Treena was born in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and lived in Iowa, Virginia, and Georgia before moving back to Iowa once again 17 years ago. She loved the sound of the ocean, the warm sand of the beach, and the ever-so-gentle sway of the palm trees. Her favorite beaches were in Florida and loved taking the kids on road trips there for vacation over the years.
She was a woman full of life and will be missed by all of those who loved and cherished her. We love you Mom. You will always be with us.
