Ray was a great guy and his passing leaves a huge emptiness in our family. We miss him terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are for him and we are with you all - Chris, Tamra, Angie, Kelli, Tim and Rod - in spirit today.

Chris & Tamra, we are still in shock but are comforted to know that Ray is in heaven. I will always remember his huge hugs, his laughter and his sense of humor. It is great when family members are also best friends, which is how we both feel about Ray (and you). It is so hard being so far away when all we want to do is be there with you.

Chris and the entire Clendenen family, We are deeply saddened by the loss of our neighbor and friend, Ray. You know you are all like family to us. We have so many great memories of Ray. Mowing the lawn in his straw had - shirt optional. He had the best lawn on the block and best garden too. We will always remember Ray for his kindness to our neighbors always lending a helping hand. We will also miss our Hawkeye conversations - he was a fan for sure. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We had the best neighbors that any one could have. They made it possible for us to stay in our home as long as we could. We will always remember Ray & Chris.

Our deepest condolences to Tamra and the Clendenen family on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Thom Kasenberg Heartland Express

Chis I only met Ray the one time but he was a very likeable, fun loving person. Regret that I did not know him better. My heart is breaking for you and your family at this very difficult time in all of your lives. Prayers have gone up for peace and comfort for all of you. And will continue in the days ahead. May the Lord be with you all. You will always have the memories and he will live on in your heart and someday you will join your loved one once again. There will be a lot of tears shed for awhile I am sure. Many behind closed doors that only God will see, but some day all of those tears will be wiped away. And what a joyful day that will be. God bless you now and always. Love Carolyn

My heart is just breaking for Ray's family. He was such a great man and such a caring uncle to my children after their father passed.
