Dear Kay and Family: The Kirkwood Retirees send their most sincere sympathy and condolences. The passing of Ron has saddened all of us who knew him. Those of us who attended the November Retirees breakfast, had the opportunity to talk with Ron. He was very open and shared information regarding his health issues with us. He was in good spirits, and it was so good to see him. He will now be missed by all of us as we attend Kirkwood Retiree events, such as our monthly breakfast, and others. We send our best wishes to Kay and her family. Sincerely, The Kirkwood Retirees. He was a very loyal attendee to our monthly breakfasts

I was saddened and sorry to hear about Ron's passing. I first met Ron at Hawkeye 617 Toastmaster's Club in October 1984. When I joined he was appointed my Mentor and was very helpful to me. I am still a member of that Club. We missed Ron a lot when he became ill. He was a great asset to our Club and gave many meaningful speeches'. He will be missed by all of us. We loved his humor and many helpful ways. Ron's family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Yes, I agree - what a wonderful person and boss! I have such great memories of my early teaching career with Ron! God bless you and may we meet again!

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was always so happy and upbeat. One of the "Good Bosses" to work for.
