I just learned of David's passing, and I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked in theater with David many years ago in Lansing, Michigan. He was bright and warm, with a ready smile and kind word for all he met. I pray that your grief soon gives way to fond memories.

Only working with David in a professional setting was quite enjoyable. When he asked how you were doing, it never seemed like the standard hollow formality that most of us use. Always wanted to find the circumstances to get to know him better because of that, I am sure he had much wisdom to share.

David worked with us at Location Properties and Realty Executives - Hedges Real Estate in Lawrence, KS. Many in our office enjoyed chatting with David each day. We appreciate the work he did for us as well. His experience and wisdom helped us a lot. Many of the employees and Realtors in our office as well as many of our property owners and tenants have expressed how much they enjoyed knowing him as well and how much he will be missed. We were so looking forward to him coming back to the office after taking a bit of time off for his back surgery. We are deeply saddened by his loss and we will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandy and the rest of his family. David Omar, we will miss you very much!

I have just heard of your loss and am so sorry. David and I started as co-workers a few years ago and the friendship blossomed around shared interests of music and the arts. I always enjoyed his perspective on cultural issues and discussions of history. He was so happy with Sandy, proud of his children and beamed when he spoke of grandchildren. May this loss eventually fill with fond memories and shared stores.

I was so sad to hear about David's passing. David was my friend, fellow Muslim and, for awhile, college roommate at Ellsworth College, in Iowa Falls during the mid-60's. I'll remember him as fun, sometimes serious, and as a person with many interests, particularly in the arts. I haven't seen him for many years but will always remember him as a true friend. My condolences to his family and friends.
