Madge was a good friend to my parents as well as my boss for a year at Merchants National Bank. I remember her as being feisty, but a very nice person. Madge was a wonderful role model for any woman who was trying to make it in the male realm of banking at a management level. Our loss is heaven's gain!

Aunt Madge has been devoted to gathering and distributing our family (Vorse) heritage information. She was well loved by her family and friends and will be sorely missed. We know she will be receiving her rewards for a Christian life well lived.

32 years ago Madge took a chance on hiring a young a man to the printing and copy center of Merchants National Bank. Who knew that would lead to a career in the financial services industry. Thank you Madge, I will always credit my career to you! A true pioneer of women in business!

Our family was blessed to have known Jim and Madge. Wonderful examples of living life and loving people. A favorite memory was stopping over to help with flowers one year, of course you had to leave with a pencil from the garage. Jim is smiling to be back with Madge by his side, and I am sure that the Saints of Heaven are welcoming her home!
