To Mike , Roberta and friends and family of Margaret's. The world lost one classy lady. She was a little lady with a gigantic personality and impeccable taste. She was the perfect ambassador and mentor for Lady Riders everywhere. There will be a giant hole left in the universe where Margaret once stood that nobody can fill. She was truly, one of a kind. Godspeed dear Margaret. May you ride on in eternity as trainer for all the Guardian Angels that keep us safe as we ride. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber to the road. You will be forever in our hearts.

Mike, the Virginia/DC Motor Maids share in your loss. Margaret was a special lady and Motor Maid. She will be missed by all the Motor Maids, we all looked forward at Convention to see your and Margaret walking hand and hand throughout the Convention Hotel. Margaret always with a Big Smile on her face, with her man at her side!!! You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, she will be missed, but not forgotten. With all our Love...

Every conversation, every moment spent with Margaret was a treasure. I came to know her and Mike via Motor Maid conventions. She will be missed dearly.

Margaret was a great inspiration, always generous in giving of her time and knowledge. We have lost a great lady but not the great gift she shared through her life. Mike, God bless you and comfort you.

Mike I am with you today in spirit. What a lucky man to have had such a grand and inspiring lady at your side for so long. She was a tireless ambassador for the sport of motorcycling, the Motor Maids and most especially, all things 'Mike'. Your love and devotion to each other was a gift few people will ever know. My prayers to you and your family. Jan Barrett

Mike, Roberta and Family, Aunt Margaret will be truly missed. She was always gracious, kind and giving. She lived a full, active and meaningful life. Treasure the memories. May God comfort you in the days ahead. Linda and Francis Brown Lenice (Charles) Pafford

Rest in peace Margaret. You lived a truly remarkable and blessed life. My heartfelt condolences to Mike and the rest of the family.

Peg and I send our thoughts and prayers. Please know we thought the world of Margaret and always enjoyed her company, conversation, and wisdoms. We admired her knowledge and most adventuresome stories and experiences. She was a very special lady. Mike you can call on us any time if you need any company or assistance. We are up north in MN but we will be thinking of the family in the days ahead.

I am very sorry that Margaret has left us. I always enjoyed our " girl chats" and the time we spent together. We could talk about anything and laughed a lot about many things. She was a very affectionate person who had a hug and a smile for everyone. They even put a picture of her hugging a friend in the Cedar Rapids Gazette on the picture page one day. Boy ! Did I tease her about that! She was a wonderful wife, loving Mother and a great friend. We've had a lot of good laughs and I will miss her very much. Love you Margaret.

We are saddened to lose another Motor Maid who set the path for us motorcycle women that still wanted to be a lady. I wish I had known you to have talked to you and learned from you. We truly want to share your sorrow. We want you to know you are in our hearts and prayers. Central West Florida "We Ain't Right Girls". May God bless you and keep you wrapped in his loving arms. Amen

Mike and family, We are so sorry to hear of Margaret's passing. The world has lost a great lady. Margaret (and you Mike) were always so welcoming to us whenever we met in our AMA activities and during Roger's time working at the AMA. She will be missed by so many who had the honor to know her. We hope all your wonderful memories of your life together and motorcycle travels will help you during this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Roger and Melinda Ansel

Our sympathy to the family. It was always a pleasure to see them at EAA adventures. Margaret always made me (Shirley) feel accepted and included in the events. As Margaret has traveled thru the valley to her house with the Lord (Psalm 23) it was a valley full of things most of us do not get to do. Now she has "Peace in the Valley".

My prayers go out to Mike, the family and all those who knew and loved Margaret. She was a true treasure and inspiration to us all. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to spend some time with her and Mike last year in Vegas. Margaret now rides with the angels and in all our hearts. Ride in Peace.

Mike, and Roberta, we share in your loss. Margaret was someone special to us and we will miss her more than we can express. Her devotion to the sport of Motorcycling will never be equaled by anyone, ever. Remember when the MotorMaids made parade laps at the National Dirt-Track events.. You could always spot Margaret, so neatly dressed, riding her Blue and Grey Harley, with her Blonde hair poking out from under her "Harley hat". And who can forget that little finger-nipping Poodle she carried around in her purse or pocket for those many years? When we first met in 1951, Margaret started in on me, giving me advice as to how a person should act and conduct themselves to project a positive image to the Public about Motorcycling. Those lectures and well intentioned guidance have stuck with me all of these years. Even tho events have kept us many miles apart all of these years since the early 50's, we have been able to get together when our paths have crossed during your, and our, many trips around the country. We will always remember those visits with fondness. I will always be grateful for Margaret's words of wisdom, her examples, and her encouragement in helping inspire my love for the Sport of Motorcycling. She will be missed, but never forgotten. Bob and Nancy

We have been fortunate to have shared a small portion of the Wilson's life and want to offer our condolences to the family. In addition to the many motorcycle trips Mike and Margaret made, some coast to coast followed immediately by Mikes annual PT-22 trip to California. Margaret would follow in the car for ground support. What an adventurous couple willing to share their experience with so many people. Yes, Margaret will be missed.

Mike, You and Margaret continue to be role models in our lives! You two knew how to have fun, how to celebrate the everyday and to take advantage of every opportunity to live life large! Whether on two wheels, up in the air or sharing your zeal for life with your family or friends, you made everyone you encountered feel alive! Thank you so much. We ache for your loss but know your relationship with Margaret was so wonderful, it could only lead to pain in losing her. But, what memories you have. Love, Gin and Sue

Very sorrowful at Margaret's passing - sympathies to Mike and the rest of the family. I and my husband, Jim Dean, met them by chance at Anamosa a few years ago while she was doing a shoot with M. Lichter. They imediately made both of us feel like we were old friends. Mike and Margaret were two of the most wonderful people to meet - we have always felt like that day was a gift, It was so very easy to see how much a couple they truly were; so inspiring that each could be such an individual, yet together they transcended and because so very much more. Such a day, we will never forget our lucky encounter and the awesome memories. Happy Trails Maragret.

My heart go out to you and your loss of your beloved Margaret. She'll always be part of my life along with you Mike

Mike, I was honored to fellowship with you and Margaret; two of the most gracious people I have ever met. Margaret will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to you. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you John & Toni Willoughby

I met Margaret and Mike at my very first Motor Maids convention in Grand Rapids, MI in 2011. They welcomed me (a new rider) with open arms and treated me so kindly and with the utmost respect. I have an autographed picture of Margaret (back in the day) which hangs on my living room wall. I will always remember her with great admiration. What a wonderful role model for us all!
