My sympathies to your entire family on the passing of your wife and mother. I have many fond memories of Susie at church throughout the years. Her quick wit and hearty laughter is one of the things I remember from my childhood, and her devotion to her children and grandsons is my favorite memory of her from more recent years. She will be missed by all who loved her, until we meet again.

Merton and Family, we were sorry to hear that Susie had passed away. What I remember about Susie was that she had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. It seems like the "Decorah family" has spread out so much that it's been hard to get together very often through the years. May God bless you and your family as you remember the wonderful times with Susie. Cathy (Spilde) and Loren Jansa

So very sorry for the loss of Susie. We will see her some time. She was a sweet lady. God Bless her and each of you. So sorry I can't make it there, I live in Az. now.

I was sorry to hear about Susie's passing. She was an encourager to many and I am sure will be missed by many. I'm praying for peace for the family and her other loved ones at this difficult time.

Not sure if you got my note. I remember attending First Assembly and my folks Hubert andLucile Cunningham were good friends of your wife and mother. I remember sitting and talking to her as a teen. On occasion I sent her black jelly beans or took them to her at church at Easter time. She will be truly missed. May God wrap his arms around you today and comfort you. I can imagine what a visit she is having with my mom in heaven. Our prayers are with you as you go through this time. She was a great lady.

My sister Georgia Neal and I Benny Blackwell want the family to know our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Even though we were far apart Susie knew we were always a cousin that shared her thoughts and prayers in her sickness and health. We will miss you very much.

Really hard coming to the realization that you are gone and I'll never be able to hear your voice or see you again. All I can do is remember the good and bad times we shared together.Remember the times that we use to skip school together and get in trouble with the folks. We always stuck by each other and also fought with each other. Is going to be hard on Tuesday having to say good by to you for the last time but I am happy that you aren't going through all of that pain.Bet there was a big reunion,in heaven, with you,Luann,Mom,Myrl, and the rest. Will love you forever Sis.

Aunt Susie we will miss you, but will take comfort in knowing you have heard the words "Well done my true and faithful sery". For you truly were. You would never know the impact that you had on me. You would never let me excuse my behavior, but you did it with a love unmatched. I LOVE YOU! Enjoy your mansion. Tell Grandma I love her.

Aunt Susie, the hurt I feel is beyond words... but I will take that hurt to know that yours is gone. I can only imagine the welcome home ceremony you had when you got "home"... Your faith in God, love of family and caring for others can never be measured. Please give everyone a hug for me and tell them I miss them, as I miss you as well. Find my sister Debbie please and give her an extra special hug... Love you Aunt Susie.....Love you a ton.
