Bill and Family, My sympathy for your loss. I have fond memories of both your parents...such gracious people and a joy to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bill, Karen and families -- so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was such a joy to be around. Always positive, upbeat and loved her laugh!! We have many fond memories of Kathryn and Bill living across the street on 8th Ave. God's blessings as you share your memories of her.

Dear Bill and family, we were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. It is so very difficult to lose a parent but this time of year makes it especially so. May your memories help you heal. Larry and Judy Gentry, Westminster, CO

This had to be fate, but we were shopping in Cedar Rapids Monday. They were handing out free Cedar Rapids Gazettes in the mall. Took one and read about Kathryn's death in the obituaries, not knowing for sure until we read the paper that it was the Kathryn that we sent Christmas cards to in Charles City. When Kathryn and Bill lived in Ossian, Bill used to fix my parents television. Then after we were married, Jerry's mother, Angela Becker, used to talk about Bill and Kathryn because Jerry Sr. and Kathryn were first cousins. They got a big kick out of our naming our youngest son Cole William Becker. She and her sister Jean made a point to visit with us at Regan (Ron's son) and Jackie's (my niece) wedding about six years ago. Last year our Christmas card to her came back so we lost touch. Even though we did not know her well, please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss. Jerry and Peggy Becker (son and daughter-in-law of Jerry and Angela Becker)

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss. I have missed our many visits these past years -- and times we shared together. Kathryn was most gracious, always welcoming, and we had many memorable times together. Special memories include St. Patrick's Day "Irish stew" and a bit of Bailey's Irish Cream with Bill and her. I thought of her these past 2 weeks when I was flying KLM to and from Tanzania, East Africa, and had the chance to enjoy a bit of Bailey's after dinner. Please send a copy of the Memory leaflet to the office, so we can display it next November: 106 Chapel Lane, Charles City, IA 50616

From a member of All Saints Church and a former resident of Ossian, I express my condolences to the family of Kathryn Cole.

To the Tyler family: Please accept our condolences on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. We hope that comfort and peace come to you. May God bless all of you. Jim and Carol Voss
