Belated sympathies to the Rosenbergers on the passing of Irene. I recall having met her in earlier days when in high school and after with Diana, and Irene always struck me as a lovely, kind, outgoing and optimistic person, much like all of you Rosenbergers with your great big friendly and genuinely interested and kind personalities! She definitely passed that along to each of you. What a lady yet what an end of a truly remarkable era. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you during this time, as they will be every year right before Christmas. Very difficult time to lose such a wonderful family member, I'm sure.

Irene was a very special lady. When my daughter was sick and dying, she was always wanting to help in any way possible, just caring was more than enough. She had a heart of gold. It was a great pleasure knowing her. You have my sympathy, Sharon, in losing a great Mother. She will always be there in your heart. Sorry I can't be there this morning, I have a prior appointment.

So truly sorry to hear of Irene's passing. She was a very sweet lady. I have attended the Salvation Army for meals and sewing group. I met her there. I have gone to see while in care center. I/m from Walker, Iowa. I wish your family well and heartfelt sympathy.

What a extremely special this woman was. Although,, I have not seen her 1999. I met her when I was 5 years old. I was one of Chris's friends. My older sister whom was Diana's childhood friends. She had this magical glow and a very warm and caring heart. And she was a true person. I remember eating her yummy fresh out of the oven cookies and breads. She truly touched me and my sister's hearts and she will remain in our thoughts forever. What a true honor to have known her. Love & Sympathy to, ALL of her family, as I know this must be extremely hard for you all. <3

I am saddened to read of Irene's passing. What a beautiful person - a mother to us all. She had such a positive attitude and sense of humor. When I think of the days at the ballpark when the Paradise played, I will always remember her as an integral part of the team. Maybe she and Don can hook up and talk and laugh about the "old days." He couldn't be in better company. Love to your family.

A wonderful woman of God who has now met her Savior face to face! Praise the Lord! Blessed to have known her.

I feel blessed to have been able to know this lovely lady. She was truly one of a kind. My family will always hold her memory deep in our hearts. Our lives were made better and brighter because we were lucky enough to know her.

So sorry for your loss, Motsie was an angel. Need more people like her in the world.

Our sympathy is extended to the Vig family. Her love of crocheting is one of our memories. Irene was a great lady who helped us in the start up of the baseball museum in Norway. Her baseball stories and pictures live on at the museum.

The board of Iowa Baseball Museum of Norway wishes to send their condolences to the family of one of our greatest Norway baseball legends.

We are so very sorry for your loss. We were truly blessed to know her. Cherish her memory.
