I feel very blessed to have had Connie cross my path in life. Her and I spent every Tuesday together for the past 6 years and I am a better person for knowing her. She had an amazing zest for life, and always coordinated from head to toe. Connie's positive outlook on life, genuine kindness toward everyone, and relationship with God is what will always come to mind when I think of her. Heaven has gained such a beautiful angel and I know she will watch over us all. Connie, I hope you are up in heaven thinking "it doesn't get any better than this." I already miss you terribly and will think of you often. I promise you, I will never "drive faster than YOU can fly." And I hope "You have a blessed day!" Thank you for touching my life.

St. Luke's Volunteer Services is sorry to hear of the passing of Corinne. She spent many years with us as a volunteer, donating 5,012 hours of her time and talents to our hospital. We were blessed to be on the receiving end of her generous gift.

To all of Connie's family, Connie was a wonderful lady. I enjoyed her visits at the desk at Cottage Grove Place. She always had a smile and a special word , she will be missed by all who knew her. God bless you all and help you through this time of sorrow.

I have lost such a dear dear friend, I know she had a wonderful life and there is no mistaking the many treasures and fun she brought to all of us. I will miss Connie so much. God bless my friend.

it is especially sad for me to lose another contemporary. Connie was a good friend of mine for many years of our life with both Glen Harvey and Bob Yaw.

My Condolences go out to Connie's family: Connie and Bob were great family friends and involved in many Cedar Rapids activities. Connie' s passions involved traveling, reading along with getting together with family and friends. I loved hearing about her travels all over the world. Her most important passion was her church, Christ Episcopal Church. She will be missed but not forgotten.

I was saddened to learn of Mrs. Yaw's death. She and Bob Yaw greatly helped the formation of the Indian Creek Nature Center in the early 1970's. Thanks to their work hundreds of thousands of children over the past 40 years have had wonderful outdoor experiences. My heart goes out to the Yaw family and friends. Rich Patterson
