Tom sent a message to tell me about your mother's passing. I am so sorry that I won't be able to attend the wake or funeral because I want to see you and pay tribute to your mom. I have the BEST memories of your mother. She was kind, funny, a true delight. I remember her patience and how she took care of Jason. One day especially, I remember her sitting at the inflatable pool in her backyard while Jason played in the water. She acted as if there was nothing else in the world that mattered, just being there with him while we went off and did whatever we did in those days. I remember her deserts of pudding and whipped cream...little things that stand out about her. Just one of the best moms ever. I wish I could be there! I have no one else to watch my shop on Thursday morning. But know that I'm with you in spirit! I'll be thinking of you, your family and everyone she touched.
