Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers during this unbelievably difficult time. So sorry to hear about your loss.

I met you during Christmas trips home with my step-mom, Annamae. When I heard about your loss, I felt the need to write my experiences. I lost my husband 10 yrs. ago, and my only son 5 yrs. ago. I pray that you both can find a place of peace for your own emotions, fears, and loss. Then you can help each other and your son. Many blessings. God Bless.

Dear Novak family, I have never met you personally but I wanted to say that your in my prayers. I cannot begin to imagine the pain your experiencing right now. But I do know that God can give you exactly what you need during this time of grief. It might not feel like He is there at times but believe me He will never leave you.

From a mom, I lost my daughter almost a year ago. My heart is broken , and my life forever changed. As I heard about this tragedy , I can only imagine the grief your family feels in losing 2 children. I pray may Our God grant you the strength you need in this sad time. My prayers and love are with you. A Mom.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting these handsome boys. But, your unthinkable loss has had me thinking and praying for the family and friends of these young angels. May the prayers and presence of others send comfort to you, and may God hold close your beautiful boys. My thoughts and prayers will be with you, and I wish to send you strength and faith for the future.

Hearts across Eastern Iowa are breaking for you all. Deepest sympathy and may the love and support of your family and dear friends see you through this this. The Cord- author unknown We are connected, My child and I, by An invisible cord Not seen by the eye. It's not like the cord That connects us 'til birth This cord can't been seen By any on Earth. This cord does it's work Right from the start. It binds us together Attached to my heart. I know that it's there Though no one can see The invisible cord From my child to me. The strength of this cord Is hard to describe. It can't be destroyed It can't be denied. It's stronger than any cord Man could create It withstands the test Can hold any weight. And though you are gone, Though you're not here with me, The cord is still there But no one can see. It pulls at my heart I am bruised...I am sore, But this cord is my lifeline As never before. I am thankful that God Connects us this way A mother and child Death can't take it away!

M y sister, Rita Trimpe, called me on my way back from Kansas to tell me about the twins deaths. She was just heart broken. So am I. I cannot imagine losing twins in one day. My prayers and sympathy are with you both and Nate. I will be thinking about all of you often.

Novak family, What a precious picture of your beautiful boys. You don't know me but I wanted you to know something. I was fortunate enough to watch my mother pass onto eternal life and she was able to tell me what she saw in Heaven. She said it was the most beautiful place she has ever seen and everyone was beautiful and happy. She said the colors were colors she has never seen before. It was peaceful, bright and one thing that amazed me was she didn't want to come back. She said she had to wait for Jesus to come and get her. I told her to run to him as fast as she could. I am sure your boys did the same. We here on earth are the ones suffering. They are both happy running together and they will be together forever. I hope that some day your hearts will be happy again. I am so sorry this happened to you and may your boys be the angels on your shoulder.

Sorry for your loss.

Colton was in my class last year. I played with him a lot at recess. I've been saying lots of prayers for Colton and Clayton. I hope they are having a great time in Heaven! Love, Andrew

Jen (and family) ~ I am so sorry for your loss. I have been praying for you and your family each and every day. What a tragic loss. . . . I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

My prayers and most sincere condolences for the parents, Curt and Jen, and the rest of the Family and Friends of Clayton and Colton. Having lost a daughter at a young age I do know of the pain you all must be feeling at this time. To honor Clayton and Colton and to offer some small solace I submit the following.... A PAIR OF BRIGHT LIGHTS HAVE GONE OUT...(By Michael M. Kelly Sr.) Bright lights have gone out and let some of the darkness in, And only God understands why. We who are left behind are not to understand, But maybe we have to accept. We have to accept that for a little while, Clayton's and Colton's bright lights were sent to be among us, For us to enjoy, And now they have gone back to God, Where their bright lights can shine forever. Please don't be sad for them, They have gone to a place where they will be happy always, And they will forever, remember your love.

We want to send our sympathies to the Novak and Havel families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. We are thinking of you often. God bless all of you
