Charles Opatrny

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Opatrny's passing. I had been a student of German of his many years ago. He was a very patient and devoted teacher. I enjoyed his class immensely. I had two German classes with Mr. Opartrny and I especially loved his love of the language and the are area in which German and other languages would be used. He was very encouraging and an excellent teacher. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great teacher and caring person. I will certainly never forget him as he always encouraged learning and he is part of the reason I went on with my education. Teachers like Mr. Opatrny are rare and open doors for learning by encouraging students to go the extra mile and really learn what is being taught. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
