We're so sorry that we can't be there for the service. Aunt Sissy (I didn't call her Charlene either) always had such a positive attitude and a smile on her face. I wish we'd had the chance to see her when we were back in Iowa at Christmas. We'll miss her! Sherry, Saty, Becky & Josh

She was always aunt SIS to me, because my mother called her SIS(for sister) as far back as I can remember. I must have been a teenager before I realized that SIS wasn't her name. She was a wonderful caring person who always made people feel welcome. I remember her cakes & pies for desert when we would visit the farm in the summer & she would make fresh tomato juice for my dad & I. There are many wonderful stories & memories of our family vacations to Iowa & the farm. I cannot make the funeral, but I am truly grateful that Charlene was one of my aunts and she is truly missed.
