Sue passed away surrounded by love on 3/20/24. Please come to All Saints Church on Tuesday, 3/26, to visit with family beginning at 9:00am followed by a funeral mass at 10:00am.
How do you write in a few words about one of the people you loved the most? She gave us some guidance on what she wanted to share about her 98 years on Earth. She didn’t care to list the dates and details of all the memorable times in her life. She wanted to give you an idea how fortunate she felt to have lived.
Although at times she questioned it, smartest, luckiest encounter ever? Howard Beals – best friend and husband. (Sue! Sue! …). She has been without him for 14 years and now they are dancing to Glenn Miller again!
Her greatest achievements? Dick (Jan who attempts to keep him in line), Nan, Jo, Bob (Maggie who reminds him there is more than one opinion), Heidi. There is an ongoing discussion who she liked best.
Achievements didn’t end with the above. Grandkids – Lindsey (Patrick), Kerry, Sarah (Stephen), Matt (Hallie), Kaci, Hannah (Dustin), Kelsey, Sami, Bryan, Marcus – and a host of great grandkids!
But wait – there’s more! Cousins, a nephew, Julie and Jenni (special nieces) and many caring friends. In addition to Howard, welcoming her home are her mom Veronica, Aunt Mary, son-in-law Mike and many other relatives - remember she was 98!
Sue's love for us will live in our hearts and also through the treasured artistic expressions of her talents with knitting, sewing, quilting, stain glass, macramé and whatever crafts she decided to make.
A special thanks to those who grew to know and assist her at Hallmar.
She loved life and took every opportunity to share that love with us. We wish you all that great fortune.
