Jeneanne Reasor went to heaven on April 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She leaves a legacy of love, devotion, and unwavering faith. A Celebration of Jeneanne’s life will take place on June 22, 2024, 11:00 am, at Cedar Valley Bible Church, 3636 Cottage Grove Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52403. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on the church’s website at www.cedarvalley.org. A light lunch will be served after the service.
Surviving family members include her devoted husband of 62 years, Ken, her four children, son; Daniel (Mary), David (Karrie)and Michael, and a daughter, Michelle. Her memory will be forever cherished by her seven grandchildren: Alex, Jarred, Amanda, Branson, Jackson, Lindsay and Cassidy. Jeneanne also leaves behind four nieces, Becky, Terry, Debbie and Penny, along with two nephews, Allen and Bill. In addition, she is survived by one brother, Neal (Dixie).
Preceding her in death were her parents, Cornelius Young and Selina McCarty, daughter Michelle, and daughter in-law, Deanna.
Jeneanne was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She dedicated much of her life to her church, Cedar Valley Bible Church, where she impacted many lives, especially the children she dearly loved and taught in Sunday School. Her spirit live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
In honor of Jeneanne’s memory, the family requests that any donations be made to Bridgehaven Pregnancy Support Center, 4250 Glass Road, Ste 100, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402, in lieu of flowers.
