Tennis S. Olson, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday June 17, 2018. Tennis was born in Allamakee County on August 1, 1930 to Stanley and Thelma (Anfinson) Olson.
Tennis had a great interest in trains and loved to watch them, he was a baseball fan and he also enjoyed his daily trips to Wendy’s with family.
Tennis is survived by his siblings Edwin Olson, Clarice Kubasa, and Charlotte Olson; 3 nephews, 1 niece and 1 great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Miranda.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, 4200 First Ave NE, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service with burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
