Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Having worked with Carol at Social Security for only a short time it was definitely long enough to observe her giving and patient qualities when interacting with other human beings. She was one of the first people I met when I moved to Cedar Rapids in 1981 and her kindness will never be forgotten. She earned her wings a long time ago and I will always remember her as a true ISU fan.

We lost a special person when Carol passed away. During the years she worked at Social Security and since she retired, she made a difference in people's lives with her care and help. Our sympathy to her family.

Carol and I were friends in high school and beyond. The last time we spoke on the phone was this past New Year's Eve. She told me of her illness but was so upbeat and positive that one could imagine she would beat it and live forever. My condolences to Darrell and the rest of the family.

Sorry to read about Carol. I have very fond memories of babysitting for Laura and Susan years ago in Wall Lake. We always had a project or game to work on during our evenings together. One night one of the girls threw up and I was so pleased that I got through that without getting sick myself!! It was wonderful to have Carol reintroduce herself to me several years ago in Cedar Rapids. My sympathy.

Carol was always such a pretty quiet girl in high school and the class of '54 will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.

Carol was the nicest person to work with, always pleasant and kind. So sorry for your loss.
