Remembering how good of a neighbor he was to my parents. So sorry for your loss. Sharon (Macklin) Winistorfer

Great memories of Dale and Dale with Jim when in our office for his diabetic footcare. Loved our visits. I retired a year ago and have missed those visits. Personable pair!! My deep sympathies to you Jim and Mary and family. God bless! Jacque????????????????????????

We are so sorry for your family's loss. Praying that Dale's memories bring you all Comfort and Peace in the days ahead. Warm Regards.

Very sad to get your call this week. I have many fond memories of Dale and the Bishops! He had a great sense of humor in his heyday and enjoyed playing tricks on my parents...can we say fake vomit on their bed??? He's in a better place and at peace. May God hold him in the palm of his hand.

Sorry to hear about Dale. I still rembemer when I was 10 years old, Dale came home from work in his Strudebaker. He opened the trunk and showed the neighborhood kids the old hard hats he had. He gave each one of us a hat. I took my helmet to Forest up the street and he painted my name, "Mike" on it. Guess what, I still have it!! Take care, Mike and Sandy Macklin and Family Mom will be 96 years old this year. Hello old neighbors....

It was my privilege and pleasure to serve as Mr.(it was always "Mr. Bishop"and "Dr. Koontz") Bishop"s physician for a number years. Although our contact was solely as doctor and patient, his good nature during the visits made me feel we were the best of friends. He always made me feel better. I am sure that others had the same experience. My sympathy goes to Mrs.Bishop and the family. Whealen Koontz

Mary and Family, we are so sorry about the loss of Dale. We are in AZ for the Winter and will not be able to attend, but our thought's and prayer's are with you at this time of grief.

Mary I'm sorry for the loss of Dale. He will be deeply be missed. I still remember Dale getting me a job at the water works department reading meter's. He's now probably having a high ball or martini with my mom and dad.

Dear Mary and Jim, My condolences. Diane called me from Colorado to let me know. Your family is very dear to her. I know how much she and her parents valued your friendship and neighborhood. Dale was a good man and leaves a good legacy. Think he would laugh that his birthplace had moved to Indiana. Take care, Mary C. McCarthy, Coralville, IA
