I met rich about 12 yrs ago...What an Awesome man!! If u were having a bad day he would cheer u up!! I will never forget one of the most funniest stories he told me he did around Halloween he put a fake arm out of his trunk and got pulled over and the police officer... wanted to search his car........he kinda even joked with them......I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life!! Well Rich rest in peace and i'll continue your joke on my friend!!.....jeff Thompson

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Enjoyed playing softball with Rich and those after game tailgates. Peace Rich !!

Every Sunday Rich would come to Perkins and order the same thing. Eggs Benedict with fruit and white toast. No matter how bad my day was going Rich always made me smile. Perkins won't be the same without him. Rest in peace my friend. To his family, you were all very lucky to have a man like him for a dad. I am sorry for your loss.

I got the honor of meeting Rich during my time at The MAC. He was always the first person to greet me with a smile and a warm hello when I walked through the door. He made everybody laugh, and I'm still pretty sure he worked his mouth out more than anything else when he was there :) the world was a better place with him in it and I'm thankful that I got to have him in my life! Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. May you find peace in knowing that every person who got to meet him is a better person because of it.

As a former front desk person at the MAC, I can honestly say that Rich's bright personality was something to be treasured. I spent a year working the early morning shift and always looked forward to coffee with him and the other old ones. From stories about his dates gone wrong to his sippy cups (especially the pink and purple Disney ones) to the editorial he wrote about the ridiculous streets downtown, he will be deeply missed. All my love to his family and friends.

Our sincere sympathy to Todd, Deanna, Taylor, and Emilie in the loss of Dad and Grandpa. Life goes so fast, but memories last forever. Know that we will be praying for you in your loss. (Matthew 5:4, I Peter 5:7)

To my first real baseball coach and lifelong friend. You will be missed for sure, but I'm going to remember how you squeezed every damn ounce out of every single day. YOU ARE A LEGEND.

Our sincere sympathies. Rich was a great person with a smile and a joke that took over a room! Cheers to you as you make your journey to the most beautiful golf course in heaven. It was our pleasure to have known you. Jerry, Connie, Jordan and Caden
