Catherine, I am late to learn about Larry's passing, but send my love and condolences nonetheless. I told Stacey W. that Larry's obituary encapsulates what I knew of him for such a short period of time; a testament to his warmth and hospitality. Spending time with you, Gus, and Larry while working on the Obama campaign is still one of my happiest memories. Grateful to have had the opportunity to stay in your home and know you as a couple. xo Ria

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. My thoughts and prayers to your family during this time.

Catherine and family--- I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Larry. His zest for life will live on in all of you. Hold those wonderful memories close to your heart. You are in my prayers ...Carol Olson

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Larry. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time & sending you our love. Dave, Edel, Katie, Sophie & Emma (Sayce)

Larry would bring a list of jokes to every Optimist meeting. We moaned and groaned, another list of Larry’s silly jokes. He would read them, we roared with laughter, many times we could not stop. At the next meeting the same ritual and again we could not stop laughing. Larry --- Thank you for adding humor to all our lives. Roger Saindon

Dear Catherine and family, I am sorry to hear of your deep loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hold to one another as well as many wonderful experiences you shared.

As former neighbors we have fond memories of Larry. We both enjoyed our little red VW bugs and in our walks would always visit about our red toy!! May all the special memories you hold, bring you comfort. Our sympathy to you Catherine and your family. Scott and Mary Jo Seibert

Catherine, Anna, and Nick, we will always remember Larry's zest for life. His many interests are a good reminder that happiness is found in many places, not all expected. Our most sincere sympathy to you all.

I always enjoyed hearing the little stories you told about Larry when you were at Jackson Elementary. May the love and memories behind those stories sustain you and give you peace. Thinking of you and caring about you and your family at this sad time.

You were a loving Uncle to our daughters and son-in-laws, and especially a wonderful Great Uncle to our 5 grandchildren. We will miss you, but never forget you. We love you to the moon and back, Love your brother. Ron & Christine

Catherine, Anna and Nick, you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of Larry who enjoyed so much in life. From parenting to politics, he was true blue. I will remember my last memory of Larry at L'Auberge enjoying dinner celebrating his family. He has left his joyful spirit as a legacy for each of you.

Cathy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My sympathies to you and your family. Sincerely, Jane

My dear Catherine, what a loving, heartfelt tribute to a truly great guy! I remember when you and Larry met and how happy mom was. Another great loss. My heart goes out to you, Anna and Nick.

A good obituary is one that makes the reader smile. I did, several times. When I think of Larry I think of humor, and Italy, of course. Such a loss. My heart is with you, dear Catherine, Anna, Nick, family and friends.
