Donna Feddern, 60, of Marion, passed away July 17th, 2016 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Donna, the daughter of Edward Jr. and Kaye (Lambert) Feddern, was born October 15th, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She went to Marion High School, graduating with the class of 1973. Upon graduation she attended Kirkwood and graduated with a Legal Secretary Associate’s Degree. Following college, she worked at St Luke’s in the purchasing department for 28 years and following that, she worked 12 years as an Application Analyst with Unity Point. She married Steve Strait and later divorced. They had two sons, Jared Strait and Derek Strait. She enjoyed watching sports (especially the Hawkeyes and the Chicago Cubs) and spoiling her grandpuppy, Rocky. Donna was known as a person with a wonderful smile and great sense of humor, and a caring person who would help anyone in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and her ex husband.
Those left to cherish Donna’s memory are her sons, her mother, sisters Deanna (Richard) Delp and Sheryl (Mike) Sanders, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also fondly remembered by the many friends she met through her work at St. Luke’s Hospital and Unity Point, as well as friends from Clearwater Beach, Florida.
A visitation will be on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 between 11:00- 2:00 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. All are welcome to come celebrate Donna’s life.
