Joyce Marie Donald, 83, of Marion, Iowa, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Northbrook Manor Care Center. Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 AM until service time at the funeralhome. Private family interment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Joyce was born October 3, 1932 in Allerton, Iowa to John and Marcia (Morgan) Boysal. She graduated from Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School. Joyce was united in marriage to Harley Donald on August 18, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband of nearly sixty years, Harley and four children; Jeff (Lori) of Cedar Rapids; Mike (Leanna ) of Kansas City, Kansas; Amy (Pat) Hinde of Port Byron, Illinois; and Deanne (John) Thiede of Solon. She is also survived by ten grandchildren Chelsea, Jordan, Jacob, Alex, Zac, Devin, Jurnie, Marina, Eli, Cael and her dog, Brandi. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Joan.
Joyce was a homemaker. She most enjoyed the time spent with her beloved family and friends. Joyce was a devoted and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
