Lucille E. Miller, 96 a resident of Willow Gardens died there on Sunday February 7, 2016. Services at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Dittmar of Marion and Phylis Herb of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters Hazel Eastwood and Bea Payton both of Vinton. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husband and 10 sisters and brothers.
Lucille was born on August 21, 1919 in Benton County the daughter of Ernest and Martha Hoover Seeman.
She married Clyde Magarell in 1936 in in Cedar Rapids. Clyde passed away in 1970. Lucille later married Jack Miller Sr. in 1974 in Cedar Rapids. Jack passed away in 1993.
Lucille worked in assembly at Square D for over 22 years retiring in 1977. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, crafts, and cooking. Lucille traveled all over the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Her greatest joy in life was the time spent with her beloved family and friends. Lucille was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed.
