Brendley Lee Dixon, 52, of Cedar Rapids died Wednesday February 3, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Services at Living Waters Kingdom Church at 10:30 AM on Wednesday. Bishop Cymaron Dawson will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday.

Survivors include her children Bradley, Brea, Brittley, and Bryce Dixon all of Cedar Rapids; seven sisters Cora Dixon, Tonia (Saul) Servin and Edwina (Gordon) Esmoil all of Cedar Rapids, Joanne (Ephrom) Womack of Mississippi, Yolanda and Cynthia Lipsey both from Chicago and Victoria (Tony) Cortez of Cedar Rapids; brothers Antonio Martin, Arthur Dixon and Bob (Lisa) Dixon all of Cedar Rapids; her mother and step-father Stella and Edward Martin of Cedar Rapids, her step-mother Lena Mae Lipsey of Chicago; a step-sister Cynthia Martin of Waterloo, two step-brothers  Robert Washington of Davenport and Edward Martin III of Waterloo. She is also survived by four grandchildren Kaylee Bunn, Olivia Dixon, Demarcus and A’Breana Hicks. She was preceded in death by her father James, and grandparents. 

Brendley was born on March 14, 1963 in Louise, Mississippi the daughter of James Lipsey and Stella Dixon. She worked in guest services at the Doubletree Hotel for over 2 years. 

Brendley enjoyed playing games and working on her computer. Her greatest joy in life was her beloved family, especially her grandchildren. Brendley was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed. 

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
