To the family of Pat, we at Volunteer Services would like to extend our deepest sympathy at this time of loss. May years of memories bring you joy. Pat spent 388 hours conducting Pediatric Orientation Tours so children would know they did not need to be afraid of the hospital.

My deepest sympathy upon the death of your mom, Pat. She was an amazing woman and beautiful both inside and out. She would always have a compliment and a smile for me and I always thought the world of her. Thank you ever so much for the opportunity to be part of your mom's service. It was truly an honor and will always be a blessing in my heart that I was able to sing for her.

B J and I shared many back yard party's through the years. Remember Amy your mom would ring the cow bell to call you home, or maybe she used a school bell. Cherish the memories.

It was my privilege to work with Pat both at Franklin Jr. High and at Jefferson High School. She was a fine teacher at both places. Pat understood adolescents, and knew what to do to teach them effectively. I considered her a colleague and a friend. I share in celebrating her life with all of those who will miss her. She made a positive difference in the lives of her students and all of us who worked with her. May God bless her as she is now back home. William C. Jacobson Jefferson Principal 1970-1990.

I am so very sorry to hear of Patricia's recent death. We both shared careers with the Cedar Rapids School District, and also were connected with Camp Fire and Camp Hitaga. I remember visiting with Patricia and Demmy every now and then about the good old Hitaga days. I recall very well being in touch with them both and also other Battin family members when I wrote an anniversary book of history and memories about the former camp. Such a nice gal who will be missed by many! With sincerest sympathy to her family at this sad time.
