Alice was an active member of P.E.O. Chapter DK when I transferred to that chapter; I have fond memories of her welcoming attitude and her smiling face. My sincere sympathies to Joe and the rest of the family. Such a lovely lady!

Dear Mary:
I was saddened to see that your beloved mother Alice had just died. I was a professor at Coe College while you were a student there in the early to mid-1980s. I have very positive memories of what an excellent student you were, and also what a friendly, mature, and thoughtful person you were. And I have very warm memories of meeting your parents on campus from time to time. Their love for you and their pride in you deeply impressed me. I hope and pray that God will give all of you comfort, strength, and hope in the days ahead.
