Nancy K. Turner, 79, of Marion, died Thursday September 24, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hope Lutheran Church by Pastor Dan Clark-Bridges. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Lee J. Turner, her daughters; Kathy McLees of Hiawatha, Iowa, Christine (Kenneth) Freeman of Goodyear, Arizona and Amanda (Timothy) Hedgpeth of Denver, Colorado; a sister, Sharon Bush of Oelwein, Iowa, two brothers, Delmar Bear of Marion, Iowa and Donald (Colleen) Bear of Waterloo, Iowa, her grandchildren; Dan Caraway, Rob Caraway, Briana McLees, Jacob McLees, Christina Gustin, her great grandchildren; Alexandra Van Trump, Richard Kornafel III and Reign Kornafel. She was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Turner and her parents. 

Nancy was born April 16, 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Delmar and Ruth (Mc Guire) Bear. She married Lee J. Turner on September 27, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Nancy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker, always putting her family first. She enjoyed baking, reading and puzzles. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
