Ross and family. I was so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I worked with Shirley for several years at GE and have many memories. Shirley was such a happy lady and loved her family so much. She was a pleasure to work with. She always made you smile! Please take comfort in knowing her light touched so many people.

My sympathies to you, Ross and family, for the loss of someone so special. Nobody made working at GE as much fun as Shirley did....so many good times and laughter. I must share that my favorite memory working with Shirley was the day she fell asleep at the auto-dialer right beside me. She missed several calls but so did I, because I was laughing hysterically. Good times with a good friend. My heart breaks for you, she was a wonderful person who will be dearly missed. God Bless you and yours during this difficult time.

My heart is in shock....My prayers to the family and friends. Shirley cut my hair when I was 12years old...I am 53 now...She inspired me to become a cosmetologist and she came to Phoenix to visit the family when we escaped out of Palo in 1978. Her laugh was the best. I want to send my prayers to the family. God has her now...and she will still be laughing up in heaven.

Shirley was part of my class of '68 Shellsburg/Palo. We had a lot of silly fun times that you do in your youth. I remember her goofiness and laugh and that she was a most excellent dancer and liked to have fun. My heartfelt condolences.

I will never forget the years I spent working with Shirley and the blessing it was for me to have known her. I think about her and all the many laughs we had at work. She always had an open ear and a kind word. She was one of those people that made your day better just being around her. Shirley you will be missed!

Crushed and shocked still. . Worked with Shirley many of those years both on Edgewood Rd and over on C St on a wonderful team at GE. She had an incredible sense of humor and love of people and life and I will very much miss her. My condolences to the family.

For many years I ate lunch with her, went to the casino, and just had fun time up until her retirement. Just thinking about her now, I smile.
