We in the local "dance community" were saddened to hear of Mr. McMann's passing, and our condolences go out to his family and friends.
Francis would frequently attend our dance events at the Longbranch and in recent years at Walford and would always make it a point to visit with us band members. The subject always turned to music - a topic in which he was very knowledgeable. A high point for me and the guys was when he brought his beautiful guitar to one of our gigs; and during the break, he delighted us by playing some jazz standards.
In the dance community, we knew him as a musician, dancer and true gentleman. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

I am so sorry for your loss of this kind and wonderful man. Francis was a joy to care for; I truly enjoyed our visits with he and Joanne. His smile conveyed a sense of contentment and pride in the long life he lived. I will miss him dearly. Pray you find comfort knowing he is dancing in heaven. God bless.
