My heartfelt regrets.

It is a great lose for family (Ron, Bret, Andrew, Chris & all her siblings & family) in losing a beloved wife, mother, sister... Our hearts go out to you.! But I believe it was also a time of rejoicing for her to go to eternity where she can worship her heavenly Father & Savior Jesus Christ with loved ones who have already made it there. Our prayers is that no one who knew her would miss out on the opportunity to be made new as she did in believing & accepting what Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth & the life, no comes to the father except through me."

I was surprised to read this obituary for Peggy. We were former neighbors on Belmont and enjoyed she and Ron very much. Couldn't have asked for better folks! John and I would like to extend our sympathies to Ron and the entire family for their deep loss. We are glad to see that see was a woman of faith and that will be of great comfort to you all, knowing Peggy has a heavenly home.

Sorry for your loss - tis true they will always be in your heat and on your mind. Nancy

So very sad to hear this news! I always enjoyed talking with and seeing Peggy . Usually starting out about business but ending up with laughs. My sympathies to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. She was a wonderful mother, role model, and a strong woman. My sympathies to all of her boys and to the whole family.

I will always cherish the special time I spent in Cedar Rapids with Peggy, Ron and Andrew. Peggy made me so welcome and was such good company, not to mention she made a mean beef stew. We drove all the way to Montana...a trip I will never ever forget. Sending all my love to Ron, Andrew and the whole family . Laura xxxx

Peggy was such a joy to work with for so many years. We became good friends. She was always uplifting and fun to be around. I enjoyed mailing her postcard paintings these past months to cheer her up. She is dearly missed and will never be forgotten. With deepest sympathy, Sue Monroe

Always a smile here on earth----now a "glow" with our heavenly father---Peggy is more radiant than ever as she watches over us all. May you all find comfort in the memories shared during this time of remembering Peggy's life---she was one great lady, professional business woman and great conversationalist. We met during her visits to RR Donnelley in Iowa City--as the Conway rep. We all enjoyed each and every visit-- business and pleasure combined. Prayers of comfort and peace to you all. Liz Kaufman

A true caring, individual that always did the right thing. Peggy will always be remembered by her Con-way Family! Thoughts are with the family in this time of loss.

Miranda, Tony, and Family..... Very sorry to hear of the passing of your sister, sister-in-law, and Aunt Peggy. It is amazing how small our world is, as I've been following your sister's health care throughout her illness, as a very dear friend of mine was 'friends' with Peggy over the years through their businesses. I had no idea until I read this obituary that she was a member of your family. I know my friend is mourning her loss and I feel saddened by her passing as I share my friend's grief. Peggy was known by many and loved by many. My deepest sympathy. Susan Saunders

Peggy always had a smile on her face when I would see her. I got to work with her a few times at the Paramount. Sorry to hear of her passing. Phil you and your families are in my thoughts.

My heartful sympathy to you Ron and to all your family at this difficult and sorrowful time. I will remember Peggy with so many fond memories of our friendship. May you be comforted in your sorrow.

I will miss Peggy greatly. She was a very close friend. My deepest condolences to the family

Peggy and I worked together at Con-way, though we worked at different facilities. She always had a smile and a hug for me whenever I saw her. And when she called me, she'd always say, "Peggy, this is the OTHER Peggy", as if we were the only two Peggys around!! She was always there to help professionally as well as offer personal advice if I needed it. She was a strong, independent and dare I say STUBBORN (yes, I said STUBBORN, Peggy) woman and I will miss her. RIP the Other Peggy.

When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. We extend our most sincere condolences to you. Ron, if there is anything we can do, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and many friends. She was a great friend. We worked together at Con-way Freight and she really knew the transportation business. We were friends outside of work and enjoyed spending time together. She will be greatly missed. I know she is in a better place now and out of pain. Peace be with you.

I am thinking of the family and praying for them. This is a difficult time for the whole family. Know that Peggy is in the best place ever. May God Go With You!. She was so very pretty inside and out.

My thoughts and prayers are with Peggys family and friends. We had a great time growing up together. She was a bright and shining star. One if our lights had gone out. Peggy will be missed.

What can I say, Peggy was my friend, my co-worker, my employee, my confidant, my mentor, my decorator, my guidance counselor.....forty years is a long time, we've been through kids, marriages, grandchildren and so much more. My heart goes out to Ron, Brett, Andrew, Chris, Caleb and Tessa and to her many friends, family and co -workers. She has been a strong woman through the past year, what am I saying she has been strong the past 65 years. She always said to me " It could be worse" and now I know she meant it for she treated her last few months making all the decisions and she of course is right. The pain is gone and she is at peace....it could be worse. She did it her way. I am privileged to have had such a friend, and now an angel looking after us all... I am afraid God is going to have his hands full but will love every minute of it. God speed my friend!

Peggy and I first met when we worked for h&w express . She was in Cedar Rapids and I was in Omaha. She scared the day lights out of me. She knew the business inside and out and I was the new kid. But , I learned a great deal about the business from her and once she knew you, and if she liked you ; it was all good. You will be missed MS PeggyZ4

I enjoyed working with Peggy over the years. I only would see her at Meetings but knew if I needed anything she would help. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

Peggy was always a bright light to my day. She will be missed. My thoughts are with her family. Ronda Ruenger
