Grace L. Bollhoefer, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday June 29, 2015 in her daughter’s home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie L. Brown of Cedar Rapids, grandchildren; Penny (Larry) Franck, Rick (Sharyn) Brown, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Alan (Treva) Tesar of Louisiana, Chris (Lori) Tesar of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, great grandchildren; Chalet, Nicole, Margot, Samantha, Harley, Blair, Breeane, Logan, step great-grandchildren; Ryan Franck of Chicago, Illinois and Allison Sortland of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale M. Bollhoefer, daughter, Judy Boyle, son in law, Neal P. Brown, 2 sisters and a brother.
Grace was born June 13, 1925 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Andrew and Verna (Hanson) Stribling. She married Dale M. Bollhoefer on December 1, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Grace was employed with Siebke & Hoyt Jewelry for 20 plus years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial fund has been established by the family.
