Dear Jennings family, Stopped to see Pat and Bob at the time of my class's 40th reunion in 2010. (I just today learned of Pat's passing when I received notice of a current obit of another fine CR parent - at these times I check a few names of the parents of old friends and came across Pat's notice.) Like her husband Bob, she was unfailingly kind, funny, and really interesting. Always sad to lose another member of the Greatest Generation. God has always blessed the Jennings family and always will. God as we know is the God of the living and the dead. Pat is with her heavenly Father in perfect peace. Mike Hanrahan

Dear Bob, Mike, Jean, Deb, family and friends, My prayers and care join yours during this time. Pat was a special person in my life. There are no words to describe her impact as a student at Regis, her love of the Sisters of Mercy and her inner beauty as a professional and friend. Your family photos radiate many of her gifts. May the gifts that she shared as wife, mother, grandmother and friend now be a source of God's love and grace. In gratitude and prayer, Sr. Maurita Soukup, RSM

Dear Bob and Family, I was so sad to hear of Pat's passing. She was such a special lady who will truly be missed but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during your time of sorrow. Gene

My deepest sympathies to Bob and his family. Pat was always very nice to me and we used to joke a bit, even though I was very much younger then. Bob taught me to do my best, even if the talent was sub-par. All my prayers to those Pat left behind and a big thanks to Bob for coaching at IC and Regis! My heart goes out to all the Jennings, who were a close knit family!! Your, Dave Siders, 1960 Regis Grad

Dear Jennings Family, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs. Jennings. The Jennings family has held such a special place in my heart. Jim was my first principal. Don was my associate principal. Deb Suby and I have been friends for years, and I was blessed to know Gary and Cheryl from teaching at Prairie when they came through, and when Bob was an administrator. What a wonderful family. Please know that I am praying for you all and wish you strength as you grieve. Hopefully, you will find great joy in all the wonderful memories you have of your loved one. Take care.

To have lived on 12th Street in the 50's was one of the greatest gifts to have received in life. The whole Jennings Clan was the best part of that privilege. Uncle Frank, Andy and Angie, Jim, Don, Bob and Pat, Mike, Jean Ann and Debbie all played an important part in who I have become. Please know that you all hold a special place in my heart and in my prayers during this time of grief. Some once said that grief is like any other wound. It bleeds before it hurts. It hurts before it heals. It always leaves a scar. And some scars are mighty precious. I will celebrate Mass for Pat on Thursday of this week. I will also say Mass for the whole Jennings family on Friday. It was such an honor to be able to visit with Mike, Don, Bob and Pat this summer when I was in Iowa. May God be with you always, Fr. Jerry Coleman. Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Coach Bob and family. I can still remember you and Pat standing side by side at the Regis gym when you won the state championship. I have always thought that you both made such a lasting impression on young minds and hearts and want to thank you both. Bob you and Tom Good were the best coaches I ever had. Thank you. And may God bless you and watch over you during this difficult time. WIth great respect, Doug Henderson Regis class of 1967

Coach Bob and family. My fond memories of Pat go back more than 55 years to IC and Regis High Schools, when she was always there in the background in quiet, but unwavering support of Bob and his athletic teams. Over the years, she earned the appreciation and admiration of scores of players and friends. She will be greatly missed. My wife Sheri and I extend our sympathy and offer our prayers as you move on with your wonderful memories of Pat.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time. I will always remember Pat as a very kind and loving person who always cared for others. We looked forward to seeing you all every summer when Fr. White was at Roseville, and we appreciated everything Pat and Bob did for us. Regina and I especially enjoyed spending the whole week in Cedar Rapids with your family. Your mom was the best of the best, and we were very fortunate to have known her. Blessings to your family. Rosalie Harden

Bob and Family. I am very sorry for your loss of Pat.

Sending love and prayers during this time. I will always remember Patsy's smile, laugh and kindness. Also, if you will allow me one silly memory, I remember how she always used to send Ryan and me a crisp, new dollar bill on our birthday. Of course, she had easy access to them at the bank she worked for, however, because she worked at a bank and sent brand new dollar bills, through my child eyes, I thought she must be rich! ?

Bob & family, We are truly sorry to hear of your loss. May you all be comforted by all the memories and by knowing that she is now in a better place. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.

Kind thoughts and prayers to the Jennings Family on your loss. Many fond memories of the entire family when I was an employee of Kaye Keister at Vernon Village 66 and interacted with you all. Great people. She will be missed. God Bless Pat Mescher
